Message	the old ice on the intake trick was to prevent vaporlock on a carb car and maybe cool the air charge a little. I don't miss vaporlock at all! Were you running a 340 perchance? Had some buds with those Billy Go ahead and try that DIY project. The Titanic was built by pros, the Ark by amateurs!
